MCM wear pads, part number P25CWPXXX (XXX stands for the size of the pump from 3X4X13 to 8X10X14 inches, for example, part number P25CWP561 stands for wear pad of pump size 5x6x11, P25CWP343 is for pump size 3X4X13,P25CWP564, 250 style Wearpad, Housing 6x5x14″,etc)
In some design of the MCM centrifugal pumps, the MCM housing comes with replaceable wear pads in sizes from 3X4X13 to 8X10X14 inches. This feature reduces the maintenance costs of housing replacement by merely replacing the wear pads.
Below is the pump with a wear pad. In out looking, the only difference is there are four extra srews, the wear pad is inside the housing, see the part in the red circle.
In some regular design of the MCM centrifugal pump, there is no wear pad. Below pump and parts drawing is without a wear pad.
